Welcome to the Stratford Historic Buildings Trust
Established in September 2012 the Stratford Historic Buildings Trust is one of over 250 building preservation trusts in the UK.
We are a registered independent charity and a company limited by guarantee and have been formed with the specific intention of identifying and restoring historic buildings in Stratford upon Avon and Warwickshire so that they can be brought back into sustainable use. The trust is managed by a Board of Trustees and has commissioned a range of experts to help deliver our current restoration project, The Old Toll House. |
Our main source of income is grant aid, and we have been successful in securing funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, Historic England and the Architectural Heritage Fund, as well as other public bodies and private charitable trusts. We also receive in kind support from Stratford District Council and Stratford Town Council.
As part of our fundraising efforts we also welcome donations from individuals. If you would like to donate please send cheques made payable to ‘Stratford Historic Buildings Trust’ to SHBT, 93 Loxley Road, Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire CV37 7DR. |
If you are a UK tax payer please complete the attached gift aid form which will enable the trust to reclaim an additional 25 pence for every pound in tax relief from HM Revenue & Customs.
